Rob Miller is Director of Operations at Drummond, and responsible for the company’s day-to-day business activities. In addition to operations, he directs many of the company’s strategic objectives, largely through leveraging Drummond’s engineering expertise in microfluidics, high volume and mix manufacturing, injection molding, precision glass and plastic capillaries, and machine building. Rob’s experience managing customer accounts has provided a platform to pursue and develop new business opportunities to support markets in three main concentrations: IVD, IVF, and laboratory equipment. In combination with the current landscape and trends of sectors serviced, Drummond’s proficiency in precision liquid handling provides compelling opportunity around the globe. Rob endeavors to position the company as a strong and visible contributor in the Point-of-Care and Point-of Need markets increasingly focused on precise and repeatable collection, transfer, containment, and delivery of whole blood, serum, or plasma.
Mr. Miller joined the Drummond Team in 2012 as Operations Manager, after serving 12 years in the United States Marine Corps; enlisting after high school, and then receiving a commission from the United States Naval Academy in 2007. Rob holds a BS in Engineering from Annapolis and an MBA from The Wharton School.
